Georgetown Library FoundationGoing forward, what specific areas of the Library’s operational needs can the Library Foundation’s money raising efforts be of most benefit?

Primarily in the technological related areas, the funding of computer based programs and funding for additional computers.

How does the Library Foundation plan to continue to raise money for the Library?

In the future, The Library Foundation will continue to develop fund raising plans for the benefit of the Library such as;

  1. Annual Mail Campaign

  2. Grant Writing

  3. Special Events

  4. Establishing an Endowment Fund

Also, we are developing new communication materials as well as continual updates of our Web Site.

How can I become involved with the Georgetown Library Association?

There is contact information on our Contact page of this site.  Periodically there will be Board of Director’s seats vacant and there is usually a need for committee members.  We will be happy to visit with you.
