News From the Georgetown Library Foundation

October, 2008 - Pictured L to R, Mayor George Carver, Larry Franks, President of the Georgetown Library Foundation, and Paul Brandenberg, City Manager.  Franks presented the City with a check for $ 50,000.00 which represented another portion of the monies raised from the Capital Campaign for the new Library.

January 1, 2009- The Georgetown Library Foundation launches new website.

February, 2009 - The Georgetown Library Foundation welcomed two new members of the Board of Directors.  They are Jeanne Mann and Miranda Bradley.

March, 2009 - The Georgetown Library Foundation hosted a reception for the dedication of the Clara Scarbrough Texas History Room.
